College and Career Readiness

The Office of College and Career Readiness is committed to providing students access to a variety of programs that support Blueprint 2.0 and help prepare all students to graduate globally competitive. Staff from the Office of College and Career Readiness support AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) programs, AP course selection and exams, early college access through duel enrollment such as Baltimore County’s first Early College Access program at Woodlawn High School, as well as supporting students through the coordination of school-based student mentoring programs.

The Office of College and Career Readiness will provide tools, support, and opportunities to students and staff members through the implementation of Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID), Early College Access Programs (ECAP), and Mentoring programs so that all students graduate from BCPS ready for college, careers, and productive lives.
