Title I Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) Program: STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) Camp

About 2,500 BCPS elementary school students participate in Title I STEAM Camp every summer. Activities at these camps will reinforce students' mathematics and reading skills using a highly engaging curriculum unique to the summer program. Students will also experience project based learning such as: arts integration, coding programming, and engineering. The camps will take place from July 8 to August 2. Look for more information from your child’s school beginning in March.  Contact the Office of Title I's ELO Information email for additional information.

Elementary school students entering Grades 1–5. 

The Title I STEAM Camp will reinforce students' mathematics and reading skills
during the summer. Students will have access to project based programs:

  • Elementary Schools: Engineering Adventures & Art or Hour of Code.

Title I schools partnered at one program location.

Breakfast and Lunch

  • Provided to ALL students attending STEAM Camp.
  • Open Site is also available for all school age children up through age 18 in the community.

Children MUST be accompanied by an adult in order to receive food.
