The
CTE Food Trailer officially opened September 20
th, 2021. It will be piloted during the 2021-2022 school year to finalize systems and test event requests. The primary intent of the CTE Food Trailer is for students to apply their culinary skills in an authentic and supportive environment. Equally, it is to model business, entrepreneurial, and work-based learning opportunities to students. The CTE Food Trailer funds CTE Scholarships and Awards.
Event Types
CTE will offer two types of CTE Food Trailer opportunities for the 2021-2022 school year.
CTE Events – Offered twice a month. Organized by the Career and Technical Education
Office.
Partner Events – BCPS groups and external business partners can request the CTE Food
Trailer. Request should be made 60 days in advance. Ticket sales cover food costs and
CTE
Scholarships/Awards. There is a 50 person minimum; 100 person maximum.
