Sprummer

Sprummer is a virtual program that allows for students to accelerate through the Secondary Math Sequence. Sprummer runs from the spring into the summer and uses the APEX course platform. Students have access to a virtual teacher.
• Math 7 students may enroll in Math 8 Sprummer.
• Grade 8 Algebra 1 students may enroll in Geometry Sprummer
• Grade 8 Geometry students may enroll in Algebra 2 Sprummer

Extended Year Learning Program (EYLP)

• Earn original high school credits for graduation
• Recover high school credits for graduation
• Expand their range of courses and opportunities.

Extended Day Learning Program (EDLP)

BCPS high school students access self-paced blended courses the evenings and/or on Saturday mornings at one or more centers across Baltimore County to:
• Earn original high school credits for graduation.
• Recover high school credits for graduation.
• Expand their range of courses and opportunities.
The following mathematics courses are offered through EDLP (Self Paced): Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Statistics and Probability. The following mathematics courses are offered through EDPL (Face to Face): Algebra 1 and Algebra 2.

School Program for Acceleration and Recovery of Credit (SPARC)

BCPS high school students access self-paced blended courses in their high school SPARC program to:
• Earn original high school credits for graduation
• Recover high school credits for graduation
• Expand their range of courses and opportunities.
• Accommodate schedules that prevent them from taking a course when it is offered. The following mathematics courses are offered through SPARC: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Statistics and Probability, PreCalculus, AP Calculus AB.

Maryland Virtual Learning Opportunities (MVLO)

The Office of Educational Opportunities supports schools by providing high quality learning options for students to access high school online courses outside of current school offerings, schedules, and locations. Credit toward a Maryland high school diploma can only be awarded for MSDE-approved online courses (COMAR 13A.03.02.05D (1)). An online course is one that is provided by internet and other technologies in which 80% or more of instruction is conducted online with the teacher and student separated by distance or time or both and in which two-way communication between the teacher and student is required. BCPS students can access online courses to: 
• Earn high school credits.
• Expand their range of courses and opportunities.
• Accommodate schedules that prevent them from taking a course when it is offered. The following mathematics courses are offered through MVLO: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Statistics and Probablity, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, and AP Statistics.
