Extended Learning Opportunity Program

Title I Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) Program

STEM Camp (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)

Because of the rapid changes as a result of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Baltimore County Public Schools ELO STEM Camp has shifted to a distance learning model. These changes will not affect our focus on providing a high-quality program that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, and Language Arts.

In addition to our academic focus, counseling services will be provided for all students who attend. Counseling will be provided through small group, one-on-one, and video sessions with an emphasis on managing the world during the time of COVID-19 and an expanded national conversation about race.

This student schedule exemplifies the focus on maintaining the Extended Learning Opportunity Program's historical fun and engaging interactions among students, teachers, and families. For example, our partnership with Future Makers will provide all enrolled students with materials to build contraptions that align with the Baltimore County Public Schools curriculum.
