About the program:
Welcome to the Inaugural Broadway Theatre Connection summer program presented by Baltimore County Public Schools. BTC Baltimore is a Musical Theatre Intensive that will be held on weekdays, beginning Monday, July 10, 2023, through Friday, July 14, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology. This week promises to be both highly rewarding and very enjoyable for BCPS students with a passion for theatre.
The BCPS Summer Musical Theatre Intensive is a non-auditioned day program for Baltimore County Public Schools’ students who are currently enrolled in Grades 2 –12. For over a decade, this Musical Theatre Intensive has brought the best of Broadway to cities around the United States for training in Dance, Acting, and Voice. Our entire faculty consists of Broadway performers, directors, and choreographers who will bring you top musical theatre training, mock auditions, Q & A opportunities with the faculty including a NY casting director, and the opportunity to perform in a showcase at the end of the week to celebrate all of your hard work! Family and friends are invited to attend the BTC Showcase on Friday, July 14th at 2:30 p.m.
The fee for this unique summer experience is $125.00, which includes a BTC T-shirt. Transportation to and from your camp location will be provided at no additional charge to students. A listing of school-based, pick-up sites is included on the registration form. Detailed bus transportation information will be sent out in June.
All registration forms and payments are due in full to the Office of Performing Arts no later than May 12, 2023. Any applications received after May 12, 2023 will not be guaranteed transportation. If a check is returned for insufficient funds, the registration fee along with a returned check fee ($35.00) will need to be paid by money order. Payment via credit card will include an additional 4% charge for processing fees.
