  BCPS Cultural Exchange Program

  • The process begins between January - March for the following school year, when the CSIET approved/accredited organization contacts the World Languages office.
  • The required documentation for consideration of an exchange application will then be forwarded to the organization by our office.
  • Once all documentation is completed, submitted and approved, and residency is verified, our office will coordinate with the school for next steps.

This process typically takes 8-12 weeks, and the final approval deadline is June 30, 2023.

We do not accept any partial year or semester-long placements.  For specific guidance, please contact the Office of World Languages.
