Closing of the VLP Request for Co-Enrollment Window

BCPS began accepting applications for the Virtual Learning Program (VLP) in May 2021 for school year 2021-2022.  The original application deadline was May 31, 2021.  This original deadline was extended to July 2, 2021. In response to ongoing community interest in the VLP, BCPS opened an option for families to submit a request for permission to co-enroll in the VLP starting on August 23, 2021.  Requests that included medical documentation necessitating virtual learning were prioritized.  The window to request permission to co-enroll in the VLP will close on Thursday, September 30, 2021.  Going forward, families with medical concerns that might necessitate virtual learning and warrant consideration outside of the co-enrollment request window can work with the Pupil Personnel Worker at their enrolled school to explore learning options.
